We are what you want us to be. With the perfect location (only 15 minutes on foot to the very centre) Muffin can be your base from which you head off to explore the old & new of the town. At the same time, situated in a quiet lovely neighbourhood it can turn out to be your escape from the hassle of travelling. Clean and cozy rooms provide the much desired privacy while knowledgeable and fun loving staff are there to help you out with any concerns you might have.

mattyboytaylor2633 stayed here on 14th August 2010 I know this is a hostel, but to pay approx 56 euros for a twin room and then have to make the bed yourself is a rip off.
In the room 1 of the 3 ceiliing bulbs was broken as was the desk lamp.
Plenty of plug points which is essential to travellers it seems
Good facilities (although no time to make use of them)
Friendly staff but bus directions to airport not quite given correctly
Location good; 15 minutes to walk to old town centre on the western bank of the river |

positizer stayed here on 10th August 2010 We enjoyed the 15min quiet walk from the town centre to the location. The common area is very spacious and the garden at the hostel was nice touch too. Staffs were friendly; not accustomed to multi-tasking so be prepared to wait to drop off or pick up your room key. May consider other options when/if we return. |

Louise stayed here on 10th August 2010 Temporary summer hostel in uni residence. Great staff. Fairly close to the old town. Great facilities. Huge garden, really clean. Sound of Music on every night if you want!!!!!
No towel hire. You have to buy one. Other then that, would stay again! |

amanda_roper stayed here on 04th August 2010 Great hostel in a leafy quiet part of Salzburg. Only 10 minutes to town. Wifi is bad, could receive but not send and the other computers were slow at times. Good rooms, very clean. Am staying here again soon. |

cvkays83 stayed here on 26th July 2010 THE ONE KEY SYSTEM IS INSANE. One locker per room! The staff hands out the key without ID! Why even have a key at all?! They "offer" laundry on site, but it was unavailable because the staff forgot to reload the card with credits. When I complained, the desk guy said, "This is a youth hostel. You get what you pay for." Very understaffed. Check-in took 30+ minutes. One staff member for a hostel this big? No way. Internet did not work. The kitchen was disgusting. DO NOT STAY AT MUFFIN. Boooooo! |
